I was thinking…

This is the final instalment of our Wunder Kalender. Our fusion on a Cabinet of Curiosities and an Advent Calendar.

Cabinet of Curiosities – a room, display or case full of weird and wonderful things, its heyday was in 16th and 17th century Europe.

Advent Calendar – used to count and celebrate the days leading to Christmas Day – or at 8 in the Universe, until Twelfth Night on the 6th January.

Wishing you a Happy,  Healthy 2015.

Today is the eve of 12th Night. This was when the Wise Men arrived with gifts for Jesus. What a funny thing to give a baby – gold, frankincense and myrrh. “That’s men all over! It wouldn’t cross their minds to bring a shawl.” Moira Andrew, Poet and Author
