Hello folks, how goes it? Now that Christmas and all its accompanying brouhaha is done and dusted, thoughts turn to the New Year and our plans to make improvements on 2015. We hope the following will help you start the year well.

Firstly we revisit this short film of dance clips to ignite the terpsichorean within you, to encourage dancing into 2016.

“Nature is full of genius, full of the divinity, so that not a snowflake escapes its fashioning hand.”

Henry David Thoreau

The first days of a New Year may find you feeling a little snoozy, here is an article to encourage the practise of power napping and explain some of the benefits to help you enjoy guilt free naps. The Science behind power naps, and why they’re so damn good for you.

I hope you will enjoy Sister Dang Nhiem talking about bells of mindfulness, I find just the sound of her calm voice relaxing.

If you are thinking about exploring the use of guided mindfulness you may be interested in something I often use, The End of Suffering from Graceful passages by Tich Nhat Hanh and Gary Malkin.

“We will open the book. Its pages are blank. We are going to put words on them ourselves. The book is called Opportunity and its first chapter is New Year’s Day.”

Edith Lovejoy Pierce
